Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services offered by Acozy Haven(the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Description of service
Acozy Haven operates an online retail shop for premium home essentials, including bedding, bath textiles, rugs, curtains, and related products. We source, curate, and sell these goods and arrange delivery across Ghana. We may add, change, or discontinue products and features at any time. We are not the manufacturer of every item unless explicitly stated on a product page.
User accounts
You may browse and checkout as a guest or create an account. You must provide accurate registration and order information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the Services or other users.
Products and orders
Product descriptions, images, colours, and availability are subject to change. Prices are shown in Ghana cedis (GHS) unless stated otherwise. An order is an offer to purchase; we may accept or decline orders (for example, due to stock, pricing errors, or suspected fraud). You grant Acozy Haven a license to host and display any reviews or content you submit in connection with the Services.
Payments and pricing
We accept payment via Paystack (mobile money and cards) and cash on delivery where offered at checkout. Card and mobile money payments are processed by Paystack; we do not store full payment card details on our servers. Failed or disputed payments may result in order cancellation. All prices include applicable product costs; delivery fees are shown separately at checkout based on your selected region.
Shipping and delivery
We deliver to regions across Ghana. Delivery timelines and fees are estimates and depend on your location and product availability. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss for delivered goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide, subject to applicable consumer law.
Returns and refunds
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us promptly. Eligibility, timelines, and refund methods are described in our Refund Policy.
Prohibited conduct
- Violating laws or third-party rights.
- Placing fraudulent orders, abusing promotions, or misrepresenting payment information.
- Posting false, misleading, or infringing content in reviews or communications.
- Scraping, automated access, or attempts to circumvent security without permission.
- Harassing staff or other users, spreading malware, or disrupting the Services.
Intellectual property
The Services, including branding, software, and design, are owned by Acozy Haven or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Services as intended. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us the rights needed to operate the Services.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACOZY HAVEN AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED GHANA CEDIS (GHS 100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Acozy Haven, and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the Services or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Courts in Accra, Ghana shall have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to mandatory arbitration or venue rules where required by law.
Changes to terms
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.
